European Trapezium Mill
Feed particle size:0-50mm; Production capacity:3-50 t/h
The MTW European trapezoidal grinding mill is mainly suitable for medium- and low-hardness non-metallic minerals, including limestone, calcite, calcium carbonate, dolomite, barite, talc, quartz, bentonite, etc. It can achieve fine powder processing of 200-33μm (80-425 mesh) according to different material characteristics and grinding requirements. The hardness of the materials it can handle is usually below Mohs 7, making it especially suitable for processing scenarios with high requirements for powder particle size uniformity.
The MTW European-style grinding mill is a high-efficiency, fine grinding equipment developed based on advanced European grinding technology and the domestic needs of non-metallic mineral processing. Since its market launch, it has become the preferred equipment in the mid-to-high-end non-metallic mineral processing field due to its unique European-style structural design and stable operating performance.
This equipment breaks through the precision limitations of traditional grinding mills. Through optimized curved surface design of the grinding rollers and grinding rings, coupled with a precise grading system, it significantly improves powder uniformity and grinding efficiency. Even in today's era of widespread automation, it continues to create value for customers in the mining, building materials, and chemical industries with lower investment and maintenance costs, simple operation, and market-proven stable performance, providing a solid production guarantee for medium-to-large-scale fine powder processing projects.
Product Advantages
1. European Design, Fine Powder Processing
• Core Principle: European standard curved grinding rollers and rings + high-pressure springs ensure uniform material force; high-precision analyzer sieving and re-grinding ensures uniform particle size.
• Advantages: Powder fineness deviation ≤5%, good gradation and fewer impurities, meeting high-end demands, eliminating secondary screening, reducing losses and costs, and enhancing competitiveness.
2. Wear-Resistant and Durable, Long Service Life
• Core Principle: Grinding rollers and rings are integrally cast from high-chromium alloy (hardness ≥ HRC60), providing strong wear resistance; the entire system is designed to heavy industry standards, with load-bearing components welded from thick steel plates for impact resistance.
• Advantages: Grinding roller and ring lifespan 2000-3000 hours (50%+ longer than traditional systems); low equipment failure rate, annual operation ≥ 3000 hours, extending lifespan and reducing downtime losses.
3. Energy Saving and Low Consumption, Controllable Costs
• Core Principle: The drive system is equipped with a high-efficiency energy-saving motor, adjusting power as needed to reduce waste; multi-layer labyrinth seals prevent powder leakage, ensuring material utilization ≥ 96%. • Advantages: Unit energy consumption reduced by 20%-25%, saving electricity costs; material loss reduced, return on investment increased by 15%-20%, shortening the payback period.
4. Flexible Adaptability and Easy Operation
• Core Principle: By changing the analyzer impeller or adjusting the high-pressure spring, stepless adjustment from 80-400 mesh can be achieved; the PLC system monitors parameters and supports one-button start/stop and fault alarms.
• Advantages: One unit is adaptable to 90%+ non-metallic mining scenarios, eliminating frequent equipment changes; workers can learn to operate it in 1-2 weeks, reducing labor costs and operational failures.

Working principle
1. Material Conveying and Feeding: Lump/granular materials are fed into the inlet via a vibrating feeder. The feed particle size is ≤40mm (adjustable according to model), preventing jamming and ensuring stable operation.
2. Grinding Operation: Material enters the grinding chamber, where a shovel scoops it and feeds it between the grinding rollers and grinding rings. High-pressure springs apply pressure, and the grinding rollers squeeze and grind the material. Heat is discharged by a fan to prevent agglomeration.
3. Powder Classification: Powder is fed into the analyzer under negative pressure by a fan. The impeller classifies the powder according to the preset particle size. Qualified powder enters the collection system, while coarse powder is returned to the chamber for secondary grinding.
4. Powder Collection and Discharge: Qualified powder is separated by a cyclone collector and discharged into the hopper via a discharge valve. Exhaust gas is filtered by a pulse dust collector, meeting emission standards and complying with environmental regulations.
Core components of the MTW European trapezoidal grinding mill
1. Main Grinding Assembly: The core working component, employing a bevel gear integrated drive, internally containing the grinding roller assembly and grinding ring, directly crushing and grinding the material.
